Roberta Jane Lane

FLORENCE - Roberta Jane Lane, 91, of Florence died on Nov. 19, 2018.

Mrs. Lane was born on April 10, 1927, in South Dayton, New York, to Herbert and Pauline (Meyers) Welsh. She enjoyed quilting and needlecraft and was a tournament lawn bowler.

Survivors include a son, John M. Lane of Port Byron, Illinois; two sisters, Rose Ruiz of Florence and Ruth Kessler of Davenport, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert, and a daughter, Janet Morrison.

Visitation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florence. Funeral at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the church. Burial in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa.
