**In Loving Memory of Roberto V. Garcia**
With heavy hearts, we gather to honor the life of Roberto V. Garcia, who graced this world for 86 remarkable years before peacefully passing on August 20, 2024. Born on August 27, 1937, to Pedro and Petra Vidal in the small town of Gregory, Texas, Roberto embodied the spirit of dedication, love, and resilience.
In a story that began in Corpus Christi, Texas, Roberto found his soulmate, Irene, and they united their lives in marriage on February 6, 1955. Together they built a beautiful life in Eloy, Arizona, where Roberto spent 75 cherished years. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend, whose greatest joys were found in the warmth of family gatherings and the simple pleasures of camping under the open sky. His beloved dog, “Frijolito,” was a constant companion, sharing in his adventures and providing comfort along the way.
Roberto’s legacy is a tapestry woven with love and loss. He is predeceased by his dear parents, Pedro and Petra, beloved daughter Maria Guanajato, and sister Virginia Coronado. Despite these sorrows, his spirit lives on through those he cherished most.
He is survived by Irene Garcia, his loving wife of nearly seven decades, and their devoted children: Sandra Aleman of Eloy, Arizona, Anna Morgan of Maricopa, Arizona, and Felicia Vargas, of Eloy, Arizona. The warmth of his love continues to radiate through eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. His sisters, Elena Coronado and Estella Renteria, also remain as part of his enduring legacy.
As we bid farewell to Roberto, we invite friends and family to gather for services that will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024. We will begin with a visitation at 8:00 AM at Valley Chapel, followed by a rosary at 9:30 AM, and a mass at 10:00 AM at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Immediately following he will be laid to rest at Eloy Memorial Park. Reception to follow at St Helen Church Hall.
J. Warren Funeral Services – Valley Chapel is honored to assist with the arrangements. In celebrating Roberto’s life, let us cherish the memories, carry forward his love, and continue to embrace the joy and warmth he offered so freely to all who knew him.
