Robin Leland Rhodes

SACATON - Robin Leland Rhodes, 61, of Sacaton died on Nov. 11, 2015, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Mr. Rhodes was born on July 22, 1954, in Sacaton. He was a school bus driver and a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was actively involved in the Gila River Dialysis Support Group.

He enjoyed football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was known for helping others and was generous with his time. Always there for his friends and family, he made everyone laugh and smile.

Survivors include three brothers, Darryl W., Robert J. and Dwight D. Rhodes, all of Sacaton, and four sisters, Cornelia M. Eschief of Blackwater, Georgene Jackson of Laveen, Cecelia Henry of Casa Grande and Marjorie Lewis of Goodyear Village. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas D. Rhodes Sr. and Georgina Peters; two brothers, Cecil R. and Dallas D. Rhodes Jr.; and four sisters, Della J. Walker, Wendelyn Sanchez, Margaret Armstrong and JoEllen Loutzenheiser.
