Rodolfo Mariscal Jr. 45, of Arizona City, AZ was called home July 29, 2021, after a courageous
battle with ALS. Rudy was one of a kind and he always had a smile on his face that lit up an entire room.
He left a lasting impression on everyone. Rudy went to Central Arizona College where he received his
degree for Diesel mechanic/technology. He was employed by Frito Lay for the past 24 years before he
had to medically retire. He always had the best advice and never sugar coated anything, one of the
many things everyone loved about him. Rudy enjoyed working on vehicles, especially Fords. He loved to
go camping, being outdoors and taking his side by side for a good ride. Rudy had so much love for his
family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to make them laugh and smile any chance he got. He loved
to dance and sing karaoke; his voice was truly breathtaking. Rudy was truly a special person, where he
always made the best of anything and everything.
Rudy is preceded in death by his grandparents; Jose and Maria Valenzuela, Raul and Porfiria
Mariscal, His father-in-law; Joseph Dasti. He is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Kendra Mariscal.
His children; Alexis Dasti, Cierra Richard and husband Clayton Richard, Christopher Mariscal, Adrienne
Vidal and partner Aydan Vazquez. Mr. Mariscal also leaves behind his parents; Steven and Rose
Boydstun, Rudy Sr. And Jackie Mariscal, his godparents; Leonardo and Lilly Valenzuela, mother-in-law;
Rebecca Dasti, sister; Nicole Mariscal and partner Joel Hernandez, sister; Valerie Brodeur and husband
Derek Brodeur, brother; Joe Hernandez and wife Kelli Hernandez, sister; Brittany Mariscal, sister; April
Mariscal, sister; Margaret Massey, sister; Lucinda Guerra and husband Mark Guerra, step siblings;
Clarissa Murillo, Chris Murillo, Jacob Murillo. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws; Joey and
Michelle Dasti, Ralph Dasti, Kimberly and David Mazur, Jerry Dasti, fifteen nieces and nephews and two
grandchildren; Carsyn Richard and Christopher Mariscal Jr.
Rudy will be laid to rest Saturday, August 7, 2021, in Casa Grande, AZ. Due to restrictions, 9 a.m.
viewing at J. Warren Funeral Services will be limited to immediate family. All friends and family are
welcome to the services to follow viewing at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flower donations, please donate to the
ALS Foundation.
