Romarie D. Allen

SANTAN - Romarie D. Allen, 29, died at home on Aug. 29, 2018, surrounded by family and friends.

Ms. Allen was born on June 16, 1989, in Phoenix to Edmund and Terri Mix-Allen. She loved playing softball and basketball, listening to music, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and hanging out with her cousins, other relatives and friends. She especially cared deeply for her nieces and nephews.

She was always willing to help out wherever needed. She was a 2008 graduate of Desert Winds High School in Casa Grande and formerly worked at Gila River Casinos, a Corner Store in Chandler and The Garnet of Casa Grande.

Survivors include her father and three siblings, Kerwin and Kaylene Allen of Cocklebur Village and Adeline Allen of Santan. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents, Don Mix and Harriet Lewis and Romie W. Allen.

Wake service from 5:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Sept. 7, at the family home in Santan, 1331 N. Ironwood Road, and from 1 to 5 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Francis Catholic Mission in Cocklebur. Communion service celebrated there at 5 a.m. Burial in Cocklebur Cemetery at 6 a.m.
