Ronald Wayne Roth

CASA GRANDE - Ronald Wayne Roth, 69, of Casa Grande died July 8, 2009 at Southern Arizona VA Medical Center in Tucson.

Mr. Roth was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Viola M. Evert (Roth) and Carl F. Roth. He served in the Navy. He moved to Arizona from California in 1969. He was a welder and owned and operated a machine works shop in Picacho. He worked at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital's plant maintenance department before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed his dog, Sparky.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Smiley of Casa Grande and Debbie Roth of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother, Earl of Stuart, Va.; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Bob and Fred.

No service is planned at Mr. Roth's request.
