COOLIDGE - Rosa Aniceta Murillo, 81, of Coolidge died on Sept. 23, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today at 362 E. Dirklay Ave., with rosary recited at 8. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church by the Rev. Adolfo Martinez. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.
Mrs. Murillo was born on April 17, 1934, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married the love of her life on Sept. 3, 1950, in Mexico and was a homemaker. Five years later they came to the United States. They celebrated 65 years of marriage this year. She loved her family much and enjoyed Mexican music.
Survivors include her husband, Francisco Guillen Murillo; five daughters, Eva Murillo of Des Moines, Iowa, Rosemary Gurrola of Mesa, Marylu and Patricia Murillo of Coolidge and Gracie Murillo of Casa Grande; four sons, Francisco X. and James Murillo of Casa Grande, Martin Murillo of Gila River and Marcos Murillo of Coolidge; two sisters, Teresa Zuniga and Lazara Gandarilla; 35 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Murillo; two sons, Apolinar and Francisco Murillo; three grandsons, Guillermo, Francisco and William Murillo; and a great-grandchild, Kylan O’Roarke.
