Rosa Castillo

CASA GRANDE - Rosa Castillo, 77, died on Aug. 10, 2019.

Mrs. Castillo was born on Sept. 6, 1941, to Jose and Maria Garcia. She was a great cook, and cooking was her passion. Everyone loved her tamales.

Survivors include her husband, Enrique Castillo Sr.; seven sons and daughters, Enrique Castillo Jr., Marisela Garcia, Ruben Castillo, Lourdes Castillo, Mario Castillo, Lorenzo Castillo and Claudia Castillo; three siblings, Ramiro Garcia, Aurora Garcia and Jesus Garcia; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jose Garcia Jr.

Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
