Rosa M. Rodriguez

ELOY - Rosa M. Rodriguez, 81, of Phoenix died on March 1, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on Aug. 30, 1938, in Jerico, Durango, Mexico, to Severiano Garcia Martinez and Maria del Refugio Cigarroa Martinez. She was a nurse and substance abuse counselor before retirement.

A voracious reader, she loved to travel and meet new people. Most of all she enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Luis M. and Miguel A. Rodriguez of Calexico, California; three sisters, Juanita Perez of Phoenix, Irene Muniz of Los Angeles and Betty Vahnke of Phoenix; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus R.; a son, Ricardo M. Rodriguez; and a brother, Severiano Martinez Jr.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, in Eloy Memorial Park.
