MARICOPA - Rose Marie Race, 80, of Maricopa died on Feb. 13, 2017, at home.
Mrs. Race was born on June 23, 1936, in Cleveland to Arthur and Edna Gardner. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed bowling, bingo and watching Cleveland sports teams.
She also enjoyed gardening and anything to do with red roses. Known for her personality, she was funny, compassionate and easy-going. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Robert "Bob"; four daughters and sons, Kathleen "Kathy" Daciola, Carl T. "Tom" McLaughlin Jr., William "Bill" McLaughlin and Marilyn Mausser; a brother, Howard Gardner; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl T. McLaughlin Sr., and a grandson, Carl A. McLaughlin.
