Rose Pedro

SACATON — Rose M. Pedro, 54, of Sacaton died on Nov. 19, 2011, at Scottsdale Healthcare.
Visitation will be from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday at the District 5 Veterans Building. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in Vah-Ki Arbor, with Pastor Phillip "Pete" Reede officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Mrs. Pedro was born on Feb. 11, 1957, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed arts and crafts, listening to gospel music and going to church.
Survivors include her husband, Julian; three daughters, Magdalina Quanimptewa of San Carlos, Eva R. Lewis and Rolanda Cannon of Sacaton; her mother, Priscilla Pratt of Sacaton; her grandmother, Charlene Lewis of Casa Blanca; two brothers, Curtis and Robert D. Lewis of Sacaton; two stepbrothers, James and Reynold Pratt Jr. of Sacaton; two sisters, Carol Tapija of Peach Springs and Rose Lewis of Sacaton; three stepsisters, Joanne Pratt, Jolene Lopez and Connie Lucio, all of Sacaton; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Billman Lewis; a daughter, Renalda Quanimptewa; and a brother, Wilman Lewis.
