Roselyn Frances Rivers

SACATON - Roselyn Frances Rivers, 41, of Sacaton died on Dec. 25, 2015, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 3 Service Center. The celebration of life will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Rivers home, 400 Olberg Road. The Rev. Phillip Reede will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Upper Santan.

Mrs. Rivers was born on Jan. 22, 1974, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and liked to shop, joke, do arts and crafts, cook and be outdoors. She also liked to sing and attend church and encouraged others. She loved kids, especially all her nephews, nieces and grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Delson "Mickey"; a stepson, Delson Rivers Jr. of Utah; a stepdaughter, Raedel Rivers of Utah; three brothers, Eugene and Alvin Kisto of Blackwater and Gabriel Garcia Jr. of Sacaton; a stepbrother, Lucas Miguel of Casa Blanca; a sister, Patricia Kisto-Newman of Blackwater; a stepsister, Edna Fred of Phoenix; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Garcia Sr.; her birth mother, Janet Kisto; and the mother who raised her since she was 1, Mary Garcia Wood.
