Rosenda E. Lucio, aged 75, passed away on January 21, 2024. She was born to Jose and Alvina Elenes on March 17, 1948.
Rosenda's life was filled with simple pleasures that brought her immense joy. She had a passion for shopping and relished the moments spent with her family during various occasions. Her heart swelled with happiness as she prepared elaborate meals for family gatherings, bringing everyone together around the table.
However, among all the blessings in her life, one relationship held a special place in her heart. Rosenda shared an unbreakable bond with her best friend and sister, spending countless hours conversing on the phone. The love they shared transcended distance and brought immeasurable joy to both of their lives.
Rosenda dedicated over three decades of her life to serving the Eloy Elementary School district as a valued employee.
She now joins her beloved husband, Jose M. Lucio, who preceded her in death. Rosenda's parents, Jose and Alvina, and her siblings Jimmy Coronado and Augustine Coronado also preceded her in passing.
Rosenda will forever be cherished by her children: Philip Lucio of Casa Grande, Arizona; Rudy Lucio of Eloy, Arizona; Geneva Coronado of Arizona City, Arizona; Adriana Lucio of Casa Grande, Arizona; and Ofelia Cook of Casa Grande, Arizona. Her legacy continues through nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will always hold a special place in their hearts for their beloved grandmother.
She is also survived by her siblings Emilio A. Elenes and Josephine Montano, who will cherish the memories they shared with Rosenda throughout their lives.
A farewell ceremony celebrating Rosenda's life will take place on February 2, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Eloy Memorial Park, where her ashes will be laid to rest. The J. Warren Funeral Services Valley Chapel have been entrusted with the arrangements.
As we bid farewell to Rosenda, let us remember her for the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. May her spirit continue to guide and inspire us all.
