Roy Lee Kuhlengel, 80, of Coolidge died on Nov. 5, 2010.
The graveside service with military honors will be Tuesday in Vamoosa Cemetery in Konawa, Okla.
Mr. Kuhlengel was born on April 27, 1930, in St. Louis. He was a Korean War veteran of the airborne infantry and received the Bronze Star with V device for valor in combat. He was an electrician for 25 years with the San Carlos Project and had commercial and agricultural pilot’s licenses. He was devoted to his family and had many talents.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Cornelia; two daughters, Ivy Jean Kuhlengel of Shawnee, Okla., and Jeanne M. Stanton of Kenton, Tenn.; a son, Roy Wayne Kuhlengel of Lake Dallas, Texas; a sister, Peggy Van Reid of St. Louis; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Fred Kuhlengel, and a sister, Dorothy Turnbull.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
