Sally Ann Peoples

CASA GRANDE - Sally Ann Peoples died on Oct. 12, 2018, after a brief battle with cancer.

Ms. Peoples graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1988 and from the University of Arizona with a degree in family studies.

She dedicated her life to helping others, both personally and professionally. She spent more than a decade helping women and children affected by domestic violence and then moved to the UA Cooperative Extension office, where she worked to find and train foster families, to prepare child care providers and, most recently, to empower youths with disabilities.

Rosary recited at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 9, with brunch following at St. Anthony of Padua Community Center.

Donations in her memory may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, Love a Mutt Pet Rescue at loveamutt.org or the American Cancer Society.
