Sally P. Kennedy, 77, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 19, 2010, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center after battling a bone marrow disease for several years.
The celebration of life will be held later.
Mrs. Kennedy was born on Oct. 24, 1933, in North Hollywood, Calif., and was a daughter of Stephen Rosales and Priscilla Harrison. She grew up in Southern California and met Bob Kennedy while in college. They eventually moved to Chowchilla, Calif., then to Casa Grande in October. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years before retiring.
She touched many lives and was loving, positive and cheerful. She had many talents and loved quilting, knitting, crafts and painting. She also enjoyed travel, especially to rodeos throughout the country with family, friends and her cat Tuffy.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert E.; a daughter, DeeDee Black of Waddell; a son, Burr Kennedy of Casa Grande; a sister, JoAnne Deuker of Australia; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.
