Samuel M. "Sami" Yoakum Abbott

CASA GRANDE - Samuel M. "Sami" Yoakum Abbott, 77, died on Dec. 23, 2019.

Mrs. Abbott was born to Foy and Faye Yoakum in Stockton, California, on Aug. 8, 1942. She volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, member of the hospital auxiliary board and Valley Humane Society and was a member of CrossRoads Church in Casa Grande.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Abbott Jr.; two sons, Daniel Williams of Casa Grande and Richard Abbott of Chandler; three siblings, Paul and Leon Yoakum of Florence and Patricia Carlson of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Don and Robert Yoakum and Shari Burklow.

No service. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Humane Society or CrossRoads Church.
