Sandra Lee Wollam

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Wollam, 53, of Casa Grande died May 23, 2009 at home.


The celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.

Ms. Wollam was born in Worland, Wyo. She moved to Casa Grande in 1963 and lived the majority of her life in Pinal County. She worked as a cashier and in other jobs at Fry's for 17 years.

She loved riding horses, swimming, crafting with her grandchildren, bicycling, motorcycling and competition shooting. She loved to dance to country and oldies music and was an avid reader. Her favorite authors were Stephen King and Dean Koontz. She was devoted to her family, children and later her grandchildren, taking two into her home and raising them.

Survivors include two sons, Scott and Cody W. Williams; a stepson, David Wollam; a stepdaughter, Kendra Wollam; her mother, Agnes Marquis; a brother, Scott A. Craven; three sisters, Marsha Craven, Melanie House and Linda J. Couture; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Peabody, and her father, Melvin A. "Mac" Craven.
