Santiago Pacheco
Santiago M. Pacheco, 81, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 27, 2009, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Pacheco was born on May 1, 1928 in Mexico and was a son of Antonio and Virginia Pacheco. He was a union carpenter before retirement. He was an active member and sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous in Casa Grande with 27 years of sobriety. He enjoyed fishing, camping, ranching, landscaping, gardening and watching wrestling. He enjoyed and loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Leonor; five sons, Ricardo, Jimbo, Daniel and Jesus Pacheco, all of Casa Grande, and Oscar Pacheco of California; five daughters, Veronica and Diana Pacheco and Delcia Randall, all of Casa Grande, Ida Jimenez and Gloria Pacheco of California; three brothers; four sisters; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Pacheco, and a brother, Jesus Martinez.
