Sarah Jones

SACATON - Sarah Jones, 57, of Laveen died on Dec. 29, 2015, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton.

Mrs. Jones was born on July 4, 1958, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She liked listening to a broad range of music, appreciating all types. Most of all she loved being able to spend time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Jones Jr.; a daughter, Shalaya Williams of Portland, Oregon; a son, Charles Jones of Pendleton, Oregon; her mother, Corinne Escalante of Sacaton; four sisters, Charmine, Wanda and Carolyn Escalante, all of Sacaton, and Sharon Escalante of Maricopa; and two brothers, Tyler and Tony Escalante Jr. of Sacaton. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Escalante.
