Savannah Castro Encinas

Beloved Daughter, Sister, Tía, and Friend

January 1st, 2003 – December 14th, 2024

It is with immense sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Savannah Shea Castro Encinas, who left this world far too soon on December 14, 2024, at the age of 21.

Savannah was a bright and compassionate young woman with limitless dreams and a heart full of love. She was attending Arizona State University, pursuing her goal of becoming a psychologist and social worker. Her ultimate dream was to earn her doctorate and help children in need. Savannah deeply desired to heal herself and others, striving daily to care for her mind, body, and spirit.

She had a strong faith, trusting in Jesus and finding comfort in her prayers and journaling. Her connection with God was an important part of her life, and she wrote often about her journey in her journal. Savannah’s kindness and forgiveness were boundless—she loved everyone and continuously gave her best in every relationship, even when it was hard.

Savannah's infectious spirit radiated warmth and positivity, brightening the lives of those fortunate enough to be in her presence. Her curiosity was boundless, and she approached life with a sense of wonder, always seeking out new paths to explore. Whether it was traveling to unfamiliar places, diving into a new hobby, or simply finding beauty in everyday moments, she had a knack for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Her enthusiasm was contagious, inspiring others to embrace the unknown and look at the world through a lens of endless possibility. Her move to Sacramento allowed her to impact and inspire even more lives, extending her kindness, love, and joy to a broader community.

Savannah is survived by her parents Eunice and Sammy; and her sisters, Jasmine, Jailene, Tayler, Ryan, Jocy, and nephew Desi, and countless friends and family who loved her deeply.

Savannah’s life will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday the 23rd at J Warren Gardens Chapel 525 N Peart Rd Casa Grande, AZ 85122. All are welcome to join us in honoring her memory. In place of flowers, donations can be made to bit.ly/SavannahShea to help cover funeral expenses and headstone to remember her.
