Selene Kaye Ahmsaty

CHUICHU VILLAGE — Selene K. Ahmsaty, 43, of Chuichu died on Dec. 24, 2022.

Ms. Ahmsaty was born on April 12, 1979, in Mesa to Sylvester E. Ahmsaty and Elaine V. Thomas. She was hardworking and loved to work, was caring and had a soft heart.

She also loved music, playing board games but most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was loved by all her nieces and nephews as well as her immediate family and friends.

She is survived by her mother; two children, Celeste Archuleta and Desmond Alderete; 10 siblings, Amber Thomas, Alicia, Thomas Jr., Starlene, Mario, Weston Alvarez, Nancy, Tiffany, Richard and Amanda Ahmsaty; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Casey Ahmsaty.

Visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. All night wake services at the Clemencia Thomas residence from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. Burial early on Saturday, Jan. 7, in South Chuichu Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
