Severio Lee Kyyitan, affectionately known as "Ace," was born on August 18, 1966, in Sacaton, Arizona. He left this world on November 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.
A proud Army Veteran, Severio dedicated a significant part of his life to protecting and serving his community as a police officer for both the Gila River and San Carlos reservations. His commitment to his duties exemplified his strong sense of responsibility and honor.
Musically gifted, "Ace" had a deep passion for playing the guitar, exploring various genres that echoed the rhythms of his vibrant spirit. After giving his heart to the Lord, he found a new calling in music — singing and ministering in various churches, sharing his faith and uplifting others through the power of song.
Severio is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vernon and Imogene Kyyitan, and his dear sister, Sheira Mendoza (Kyyitan). He is survived by his loving wife, Carmela Kyyitan, along with his treasured children, two stepchildren, seven grandchildren, and two cherished sisters. Each of them carries memories of his kindness and strength, ensuring that his spirit lives on in their hearts.
On Friday, December 20, 2024, starting with a wake at 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the West Casa Blanca Worshiping Center. He will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
In this time of remembrance, we honor Severio Lee Kyyitan for the joy, service, and love he brought into the lives of those around him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Services~Cole and Maude Coolidge Chapel.
