Shane Stewart

CASA BLANCA - Shane Stewart, 18, died on May 6, 2015, at home.

The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Stewart home. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Friday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ronnie Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was born on Jan. 20, 1997, in Tempe. He was a high school student and enjoyed artwork, including drawing, as well as music and writing poetry. He had a great sense of humor and liked making everyone laugh. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his children.

Survivors include his companion, Brandene Jones of Casa Grande; a son, Ezule Stewart of Casa Grande; a daughter, Drea Stewart of Casa Grande; his mother and stepfather, Denise R. Patrick and Eugene Lewis of Casa Blanca; his father, Norbert Stewart Jr. of Casa Blanca; three brothers, Lance Stewart, Eugin and Patrick Lewis, all of Casa Blanca; nine sisters, Cynthia Velasco, Lynnette Stewart, Rochelle Lyons, Aleksah Terresse, Patricia Helen, Tamara Lea, Shannon, Destine Renee and Eulyssa Janella, all of Casa Blanca; and grandparents, Milton Nelson and Stella Patrick of Casa Blanca. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sheldon S. Stewart.
