Sharon George

December 28, 1943 — April 7, 2018

CASA GRANDE - Sharon Ann Weems George, 74, died on April 7, 2018, at her home in Casa Grande after battling cancer.

Mrs. George was born on Dec. 28, 1943, in National City, California, and was a daughter of Frederick Weems and Blanche Renfro. She had a big heart and loved everyone. Her family was very important to her.

She had a beautiful singing voice. An avid reader, she was always ready to share her favorite books with loved ones. She was known as a wonderful teacher and inspired many, both young and old. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings and especially loved working with children. She loved temple and genealogy work and leaves a legacy of love, service and happiness.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Weems, and is survived by her husband, Ray George; a sister, Barbara Brown; seven adult children, Steven, Rodney, Mark, Spencer, Miles and Frederick George and Mary Ann Hill; 30 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at the LDS Kortsen Building.
