Sharon "Sheri" Antone

SACATON FLATS - Sharon "Sheri" Antone, 60, died on April 9, 2014, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 2 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in Sacaton Flats Cemetery, with Pastor Yolanda Cruse officiating.

Mrs. Antone was born on March 24, 1954, in Sacaton. She was a certified nursing assistant and loved going to church, reading the Bible and spending time with her grandchildren. She liked to sew, spend time with family and friends, and joke and laugh. She always had something funny to say, loved listening to Mary Jane Girls music and always helped others by putting them first.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Antone of Laveen, Ryan and Marlon Antone of Sacaton Flats; two daughters, Michelle Antone of Tempe and Faith Antone of Idaho; her mother, Liza Jones of Blackwater; four brothers, Steve Voltares Jr., Terry and Arthur Voltares and Llewellyn Antone, all of Sacaton; three sisters, Gloria Voltares of Sacaton, Tina Voltares-Morris of Bapchule and Jolene Antone of Idaho; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kane, and her father, Benjamen Thomas.
