Shelby "Jeannie" Mason

Shelby Jean "Jeannie" Mason of Casa Grande age 70, went to her heavenly home to be with Jesus on September 27, 2020.
Jeannie was born on September 16, 1950 in Humnoke, Arkansas to John and Lovetta Griffith.
She is Survived by her husband of 19 years, Ernie Mason, her beloved son Richard Holland Jr., sister Henrietta Hill, and brother Johnny Griffith. She is also survived by three grandchildren Austin, Mia and Hayley, two great grandchildren Dean and Samuel and soon to be born River. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Tammy Holland.
Jeannie’s family moved to Coolidge Arizona when she was one year old. She lived in Coolidge until 1993 and moved to Casa Grande. Jeannie retired from APS after 33 years of service. She loved to get together with Forever Friends from grade school and Bunco girlfriends. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and every year got together with Forever Friends for an Elvis party. She loved country music, especially George Straight, and rock and roll music by Rolling Stones. She enjoyed dancing and vacations with her family.
Jeannie’s legacy as a loving, generous and kind person will live on in her children and grandchildren. She loved to attend CrossRoads Church and was active in kinship groups and crusades.
A celebration of her life will be held at CrossRoads Church in Casa Grande on October 14, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. (Face masks will be required)
In leu of flower donations to Charli’s House, an ABA approved program for autistic children, would be appreciated.
