Shelby Kay (Nicholson) Wilson

August 28, 1940 — August 23, 2018

Shelby Kay (Nicholson) Wilson went to be with Jesus
on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Shelby was born on
August 28, 1940 in Neshoba County, Mississippi to
Harvey A. and Cecie (Bounds) Nicholson and was the fourth
of five children. She was a graduate of Mississippi College.
Shelby married the love of her life, Raymond Wilson, on
March 23, 1963 and they served in ministry for over 55 years.
Shelby was a nurse for over 45 years working in various parts
of the hospital. She truly believed nursing was her ministry
and impacted many patients and people she worked alongside.
Shelby is survived by her children, Susan (Michael) Pitner,
Andy (Renée) Wilson and Jennifer (Steve) Myers; grandchildren,
Sarah (Cameron) Mengerelli, Joshua (Rachel) Wilson, Zachary Wilson,
Daniel (Alyssa) Pitner, Abigail Wilson, Shelby Rae Myers, Jake
Pitner, Riley Myers and Michael (MJ) Pitner; soon-to-arrive great-
grandchild, Dawson Mengerelli; sisters, Reba (Winston) Johns and
Margaret (Clayton) Hardy.
She is preceded in death by husband, Raymond; grandson, Tyler
Myers; brothers, Horace Nicholson and Aubrey Nicholson.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Raymond and Shelby
Wilson on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Grace Church,
1319 E. Cottonwood Lane, Casa Grande, AZ 85122. In lieu of
f lowers, contributions may be made to the Raymond A. and
Shelby K. Foundation at gofundme.com/raymond-a-amp-
shelby-k-foundation. In honor of Raymond and Shelby’s lifelong
servanthood, the purpose of the foundation is to support young
evangelical pastors and missionaries.
