Shirley Ann Schisler

AK-CHIN — Shirley Ann Schisler, 64, died on July 20, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Visitation and rosary will begin at 7 a.m. Friday at the old St. Francis Catholic Mission in Ak-Chin. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. at the new St. Francis Mission by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Ms. Schisler was born on Sept. 18, 1948, in Casa Grande and was a daughter of Lorraine and Juan Pablo. She was a homemaker and liked to read and listen to books on tape. She loved Elvis Presley, Dwight Yoakam, other music, her pets, riding in the rain and dancing. She loved the young children in her family immensely.

Survivors include five daughters, Roni Sue Zappia and Isabella Luna of Maricopa, Candi Chavez, Victoria Smith and Grace Pablo, all of Ak-Chin; a son, Emeterio Luna of Ak-Chin; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Sylvester Pablo; two sisters, Charlotte Ortiz and Rosita “Chickie” Pablo; and a granddaughter, Michelle Luna.
