Shirley Waltritsch

ARIZONA CITY - Shirley Ann Waltritsch, 74, of Arizona City died at home on Nov. 8, 2015.

Mrs. Waltritsch was born on Feb. 22, 1941, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and was a daughter of Lawrence Rather and Irene Grunewald. She was a nurse and a good cook who could sew anything that needed mending.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Casa Grande and volunteered her time to help her congregation. She also volunteered to help rescue wildlife with her daughter Betsy, but her favorite thing to do was loving her grandkids and great-grandkids with her entire heart.

Survivors include her husband, Ramon R.; two daughters, Betsy A. Lagos of Arizona City and Lisa A. Hannes of Wisconsin; a brother, Larry Rather of Wisconsin; a sister, Sharon Longley of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Rather, and a sister, Sally Dobberfuhl.
