CASA BLANCA — Sonya Marie Lyons, 31, died on June 23, 2012, at home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 5 Service Center The funeral there will be at 6 a.m. Saturday at . Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery. Pastor Aaron Johns and Pastor Everett Rivers Jr. will officiate.
Ms. Lyons was born on Sept. 11, 1980, in Phoenix. She was a waitress at Gila River Arts and Crafts Crafts Center and also worked in patient registration at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton. She enjoyed being around family and friends, watching movies, reading books and listening to music.
Survivors include her companion, Anthony Fabela; her mother, Berdina Lyons of Casa Blanca; a daughter, Ebony Fabela of Casa Blanca; two half-brothers, Donald Pancott Jr. of Blackwater and Cheyenne Pancott of Ahwatukee; and a half-sister, Heather Pancott of Blackwater. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Pancott Sr., and grandparents, Listine Santos and George Lyons Sr.
