Casa Grande

Stephen Gregory Robinson, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, in Casa Grande, Arizona during sunset at the age of 66. Born in Yancey County, North Carolina, on June 10, 1958, Steve was a vibrant soul whose laughter and warmth could light up any room.

Throughout his life, Steves passions were many, spanning from singing and karaoke, where he delighted audiences with his hearty voice, to the thrill of amateur-level Texas Hold'em poker games. Steve enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including playing pull-tabs and immersing himself in the camaraderie of his friends. He possessed a deep love for the great outdoors, showcasing his adventurous spirit through fishing, foraging, and wood chopping.

Steve found joy in traveling and made many beautiful memories on the open road. Also enjoyed the thrill of NASCAR races; his devotion to the Kansas City Chiefs was a highlight of his love for the sport of football. Steve was also a man of companionship, sharing his life with many dear friends. He shared a special bond with his companions, Vivian Boutkan, Chester Anderson, Michelle Nevans, and Pete Ortiz, who brought love and support into his life. His dogs, Sassy and Colby, were an inseparable part of his world, standing by him through thick and thin. Steve had a remarkable knack for making connections, and it was said he never met a stranger, a quality that endeared him to everyone who crossed his path.

He cherished his family deeply, leaving behind his beloved children: Olivia Rayne Robinson, Jacob Andrew Robinson (Dorothy), and Joy Robinson, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy for him. He was also a father like figure to Chasina Drake, Olivia’s sister. His bond with his siblings, Tony, Larry, Jackie, and Tracy Robinson, was filled with shared laughter and priceless memories. Steve was a grandfather to David, Sophia, and Josephine, who brought immense joy and light into his life. Though he mourned the loss of his parents, Dewey and Effie Robinson, and his friend Loretta Feeser, Steves spirit remained bright, reflecting the love and lessons they bestowed upon him.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who held him in high regard and will carry forward his legacy of kindness and friendship. As we remember Stephen Gregory Robinson, we hold close the memories of his hearty laughter, the love he offered unconditionally, and his unyielding spirit that inspired those fortunate enough to know him.

He touched the lives of so many and will be forever missed, living on in our hearts through the countless memories we shared with him. Stephen Robinsons ashes will be spread out West and 7 Mile Ridge in North Carolina.
