Storm Steve Marrufo

SACATON - Storm Steve Marrufo, 21, of Sacaton died on Oct. 22, 2017.
Mr. Marrufo was born on Aug. 31, 1996, in Chandler to Gloria Schurz and Steven M. Marrufo. He was a hardworking and loving young man and was devoted to his family and friends. His family said his age was only a number and that he gave great advice and was wise beyond his years.
He loved making others laugh and was always cracking a joke. When he wasn't working or spending time with his family, he enjoyed archery, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a daughter, Leela Jones; her mother, Joanie Jones; his father; and four siblings, Talon, Rose and Noah Marrufo and Cherie Mack. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the District 3 Service Center in Sacaton. Funeral at 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at First Pima Baptist Church in Sacaton. Interment in Sacaton West Cemetery. Reception following at the District 3 Service Center.
