Susan Marie Halverson, 46, of Phoenix died July 5, 2009 in Phoenix.
The memorial service was at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Nunley home, 2501 W. Mingus Road in New River.
Ms. Halverson was born in Cut Bank, Mont. She was a certified nursing assistant working in home health care. She was very spiritual and loved to talk and engage people in conversation.
She enjoyed horseback riding, bicycle riding, travel, softball and talking on the phone. She also enjoyed reggae and country music, movies, especially historical ones, and TV crime shows.
Survivors include a daughter, Nichole Reyna of Florence; a son, Joseph Larson of Kalispell, Mont.; three sisters, Bette Donathon and Barbara Fonger of Eureka, Mont., and Laura Fonger of Phoenix; a brother, Donald Fonger of Palm City, Fla.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Faye Halverson.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
