Suzanne Geary

PHOENIX - Suzanne Marie Geary, 44, of Phoenix died on June 26, 2015, at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center.

Mrs. Geary was born on April 23, 1971, in Scottsdale. She was direct support manager for a nonprofit organization and a pillar in the Boy Scout community in Apache Junction. She enjoyed ghost stories and afterlife beliefs, loved Harry Potter and wrote horror stories. She had an awesome but twisted sense of humor and enjoyed helping people. Her favorite color was purple.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell; two sons, Dalton McBride of Apache Junction and Christopher Geary of Phoenix; a daughter, Courtney Geary of Phoenix; her father and stepmother, Arnold and Donna Gilson of Payson; two brothers, Dave Gilson of Surprise and Jeff Gilson of North Carolina; a sister, Luann Preiss of Ahwatukee; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Gilson.
