SANTAN — Tamara Tammy Tobey, 40, of Sacaton died on June 4, 2012.
Rosary and wake will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Ms. Tobey was born on June 2, 1972, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and keeping peace among them. She was always happy and loved to dance to chicken scratch music. She also loved Bob Marley music, cleaning her yard and house, and her family. She was a Lakers fan and was strong-minded, outspoken, enjoyed her culture and was someone good to talk to.
Survivors include four sons, Tharol and Derek Brown, Michael Thomas and Sky Carmelo, all of Sacaton; six daughters, Latisha Tobey, Amaris, Amanda and Ariana Antone, Vanessa Tobey and Allaya Antone, all of Sacaton; her parents, Melinda Jackson of Sacaton and Reginald Tobey of Nevada; five brothers, Ralph Thomas of Sacaton, Anthony Jackson of Laveen, Arrow, Trant and Shadow Jackson, all of Sacaton; five sisters, Tracy Ennis of Lower Santan, Satantha Tobey of Coolidge, Trina Tobey of Sacaton, Raelinda and Marky Thomas of Sacaton; and two grandchildren.
