SACATON — Telesphore Blaine “Fins” Pablo IV, 33, of Sacaton died on July 15, 2010, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.
The wake will be from 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Mission in Sacaton Flats. Burial will be in Sacaton Flats Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Pablo was born on Oct. 23, 1976, in Sacaton. He was a carpenter. He loved animals, especially cattle. He was an artist with pen and pencil, focusing on Native American themes and traditional scenes of people and horses.
Survivors include his companion of nine years, Laura Jackson; his parents, Telesphore J. Pablo Sr. and Lois A. Thomas of Sacaton Flats; two brothers, Telesphore J. “Jage” Pablo Jr. of Chandler and Telesphore A. “Bear” Pablo III of Casa Grande; three sisters, June M. Pablo of Mesa, Desiree J. and April K. Pablo of Sacaton; grandmothers, Rema M. Thomas and Elizabeth Pablo of Sacaton Flats; and great-grandmother, Agatha Saklestewa of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard R. Nish and Nathanial F. Pablo.
