COOLIDGE - Theresa Pamella Caudill, 90, of Coolidge died on July 25, 2015, at Family Tys Assisted Living in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Caudill was born on March 20, 1925, in Canada and was a daughter of Eleanor and Maurice F. "Desmond" FitzGerald. She moved to Arizona in 1929 and remained for most of her life. She spent the early years of her marriage raising children while owning and operating Caudill Furniture stores in Coolidge, Eloy and Casa Grande with her husband, Marvin.
She later pursued her Royal Irish heritage. Her quest began in 1980 and led to a move to the United Kingdom from 1995 to 2012. She proved with DNA that she was a direct descendant of Hermione FitzGerald, Duchess and wife of the fifth Duke of Leinster. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coolidge.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Diwan of Coolidge; three sons, Emery B. Caudill of Phoenix, Marvin A. Caudill of Coolidge and Edward M. Caudill; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jimmy Caudill-Adkins; a sister, Patricia Roberts; and a brother, Leonard FitzGerald.
