Teresa "Tere" Diaz-Valdez

ELOY - Teresa "Tere" Diaz-Valdez, 66, died on Dec. 2, 2018.

Ms. Diaz-Valdez was born on Jan. 20, 1952, to Alvaro Gonzalez-Diaz and Epifania Diaz. She was a loving and caring person who was always willing to put others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, sewing and praising God. She was a member of Apostolic Assembly in Eloy and was devoted to her family.

She was known for her love, strength and kindness and always helped those in need. She was very friendly and always lit up a room.

Survivors include six adult children, Reyna Diaz-Sena of Casa Grande, Cecilia Diaz, Julian Valdez, Aracely Valdez, Abigail Diaz and Argelia Valdez, all of Eloy; five siblings, Maria Cruz and Juana Diaz of Eloy, Petra Avila of Mexico, Augustine Diaz of Eloy and Angel Diaz of Casa Grande; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jose Paz Diaz and Gilberto Diaz.

Wake from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at Apostolic Assembly. Funeral at the church at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8. Graveside service in Eloy Memorial Park.
