Terry Oliver Enos, 81, of the Ak-Chin Indian Community died on Oct. 15, 2022.
Mr. Enos was born in Phoenix on May 21, 1941, to Theodore Enos and Lena Thomas.
He was a former chairman of the Ak-Chin Indian Community and lived most of his life on the Ak-Chin Reservation. He enlisted with the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. Upon completing his military service, he became a skilled welder and mechanic and was employed by Ak-Chin Farms. He was elected to the Ak-Chin Community Council in 1988 and served several terms as vice chairman and chairman.
He was known for his sense of humor and joking manner. He also used his skills as a welder and mechanic to help others with a variety of projects. He was dubbed "Super Fan" because of his passion for all sports. His presence will be sorely miss at any game or tournament involving an Ak-Chin team.
Mr. Enos is survived by his children, Tanya, Terrance and Sanya Enos; a sister, Theda Corona; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlotte Enos, and siblings Danny and Phoebe Enos and Myrna Wagner.
Visitation and wake beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, at the Ak-Chin Gym, 46753 W. Farrell Rd. Maricopa, Az.
Funeral Mass beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission Church, 16657 N. Church Rd. Maricopa, Az.
Burial to follow at Ak-Chin Cemetery.
