Terry Wayne Altman

Terry Wayne Altman, 60, of Casa Grande died March 9, 2009 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at East Valley Church of the Nazarene, 127 N. Signal Butte Road in Apache Junction.

Mr. Altman was born Jan. 6, 1949 in Gideon, Mo. He had a career in the Army, retiring as a sergeant major in 1990. He later worked in law enforcement and was chief deputy, detention, for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office until last year.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Craig Altman of Palmdale, Calif., and Stacy Altman of Dallas, Ga.; a daughter, Kelly Lawrence of Rockwall, Texas; three brothers, Larry Altman of Arkansas, Gary Altman of Florida and Jerry Altman of Missouri; four sisters, Peggy Esterline of Mesa, Ella Altman, Polly Johnson and Barbara Crane, all of Missouri; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Altman.
