SACATON - Thelma Ann Terry, 82, died on Feb. 11, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Terry was born on Nov. 21, 1933, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Nelson Anton and Angelia Snyder. She was a homemaker and loved to dance. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and also watching good old western movies. She loved spending time outside around her house.
Survivors include five daughters, Juanita Brown of Sacaton, Marilyn Lopez, Iris Murgia of Blackwater, Elva Pablo and Olivia Johnson of Sacaton; three sons, Hulet and Alfonso Terry of Sacaton and Delvin Terry of Phoenix; two sisters, Joella Scott of Sacaton and Mary Moffett of Chandler; 38 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome and Tony; four sons; and two daughters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Lower Santan Cemetery.
