Thelma Sekely

Thelma Louise Sekely, 90, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 20, 2014, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

The funeral will be in Wickliffe, Ohio. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.

Mrs. Sekely was born on Oct. 26, 1924, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, and was a daughter of Walter R. Danielson and Vivian L. Stockdill. She was a homemaker and lived in Casa Grande for the last seven years. She enjoyed Arizona and declared herself a native Arizonan after five years. Her husband died in 1985 and she took a vow of Holy Widowhood.

Survivors include three sons, Andrew Sekely of Maryland, David Sekely of North Carolina and Dennis Sekely of Ohio; three daughters, Cheryl Gavel of Arizona, Kathleen Dibbins of Illinois and Michele Smidt of Idaho; a sister, Mary Keller of Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
