Theresa Jose

SANTAN - Theresa Rowena Jose, 42, died on Jan. 9, 2014, at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix.

The wake will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Jose home in Upper Santan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Jose was born on Jan. 5, 1972, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and liked to shop, be with her family, hang out with her grandchildren and listen to reggae music and alternative rock. She was a "kicked-back" person who liked to party.

Survivors include three sons, Christopher Marshall of Sacaton, Corbin and Francis Marshall of Upper Santan; a daughter, Patricia Marshall of Casa Blanca; a brother, Samuel Jose Jr. of Upper Santan; four sisters, Victoria Nish of Chandler Heights, Delia Jose of Lower Santan, Agatha Jose and Connie Delgado of Santan; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Samuel Jose Sr., and a sister, Georgina Valenzuela.
