Theresa Ortiz

FLORENCE — Theresa Ortiz, 65, of Florence died on July 23, 2011, after a long illness.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge by the Rev. Virgilio Tabo.
Ms. Ortiz was born on Aug. 17, 1945, in Florence. She worked at the Arizona Training Program at Coolidge for 28 years and was a supervisor. She was a foster parent for developmentally disabled adults until a year before her death. Her caregivers were Mary Dunn and Arlene McKamey of Florence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincente and Manuela Ortiz; two brothers, Ignacio and Reynaldo Ortiz; and her grandmother Maria Lopez.
