Theresa Romero

Theresa Lorraine Romero, 56, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 25, 2013, in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Florence 1st Ward. The funeral will follow at 10, with Bishop Ryan Michel officiating. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.
Ms. Romero was born on Feb. 20, 1957, in Superior. She was a restaurant cook and a happy, joyful person who enjoyed hearing jokes and joking with people. She loved children and considered her nieces and nephews her own. She enjoyed spending time with her family and had many friends including lifelong friends. She was generous, kind and loyal with an infectious laugh while being straightforward and honest.
Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Geronimo Rojo; her mother, Adeline Arney of Florence; two brothers, Philip Gomez of Phoenix and Edward Gomez of Tucson; and two sisters, Luci Baird of Mesa and Debbie Dill of Hamilton, Ill. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus M. Gomez, and a brother, Jess David Gomez.
