Thomas A. Blanchard

COOLIDGE - Thomas A. "Tommy" Blanchard, 75, of Coolidge died on July 24, 2017.
Mr. Blanchard was born in Mound, Texas, on Jan. 14, 1942, and was a son of Vinnie M. and Arthur D. Blanchard. He graduated from Coolidge High School in 1965. He worked for the Arizona Highway Department (later Department of Transportation) and then in asphalt contracting. He moved to Gatesville, Texas, and was a sheriff's deputy, later retiring from the Coryell County Sheriff's Office.
He enjoyed Jeep rides and running bajas and rails in the desert areas of Pinal County. He also enjoyed and spent many hours with his friends at the coffee shop.
Survivors include a daughter, Shanna Martinez; two sons, Jacob Aguilar-Probasco and Clinton Blanchard; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Jo Blanchard.
