Thomas Virginio Laguna

CASA GRANDE - Thomas Virginio Laguna, 27, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 16, 2015, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30.

Mr. Laguna was born on June 29, 1988, in Florence. He loved playing video games, watching WWE and collecting action figures. He loved his nephews and especially the newest one, Antonio. He loved watching movies on his phone and with his mom and brother Phillip, who became his daily caregiver. They built a special bond.

Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Silva of Casa Grande; five brothers, Phillip Mathews and Robert Sherman of Casa Grande, Steven Laguna and Nathaniel Sherman of New Mexico and Juan Laguna of Tucson; and four sisters, Michelle Laguna, Vanessa and Amanda Sherman, all of New Mexico, and Destiny Sherman of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Laguna.
