MARICOPA — Tiburcio Bustos, 83, of Maricopa died on April 7, 2011, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Bustos was born on April 14, 1927, in Fort Stockton, Texas, and was a son of Rosalio Bustos and Gillerma Cisneros. He was a farm tractor operator and a hard worker. He was a fan of boxing, the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played guitar, was very kind and sweet, and enjoyed spending time with the children in his family, being like a father to them.
Survivors include four sons, Raymond and Charlie Bustos of Maricopa, Richard Bustos of Arizona City and Tiburcio Bustos Jr. of Casa Blanca; two daughters, Maria A. Garza and Inez Bustos of Maricopa; a sister, Pabla Ybarra of Texas; 23 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Benavides Bustos; two brothers, Pablo and Gillermo Bustos; and a sister, Leondra Velasquez.
