Timothy "Tim" Schickedanz

MARICOPA — Timothy Eugene "Tim" Schickedanz, 70, of Maricopa died on Feb. 27, 2013, in Maricopa.
The celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel, south of Casa Grande.
Mr. Schickedanz was born on Oct. 1, 1942, in Indianapolis and was a son of Roland and Naomie Schickedanz. He served in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division and was a Green Beret. He received a master's degree in computer science, was a member of Mensa International and was a chief information officer in education. He was an avid flyer and certified to fly with instruments. He loved living on the edge.
Survivors include four daughters, Tonya Vetter of South Carolina, Krystal Lomeli of New York, Gina Lomeli of Casa Grande and Tiffany Lomeli of Tucson; a son, Arthur Rivera of Casa Grande; and a brother, John H. Self of Windsor, Calif.
